What is your favorite chess book?
- I thoroughly enjoyed Jacob Agaard's Attacking Manual 1 & 2. Universal Chess Training by Wojciech Moranda also made me a bit frustrated while going through it, which I consider to be a good sign when it comes to the quality of the book.

Do you have a role model in chess? If so, who?
- My coach, GM Helgi Ólafsson. He was fundamental to my progress at an early age. 

What is your best chess experience so far?
- Probably when I became a GM in 2013. Playing in the Fide World Fischer Random Chess Championship 2022 was also something I won't forget for a long time.

- No expectations - just excitement!

What do you enjoy most about chess?
- Helping young chess players progress. I find that much more rewarding than personal accolades.
