We are proud to announce that Lichess has joined Lewis Chess Legends as our official online partner. This exciting collaboration means that all games from the tournament will be broadcasted live on Lichess.org, making it easy for chess enthusiasts around the world tofollow the action.
As part of this partnership, Woman Grandmaster and International Master Irene Kharisma Sukandar will provide live commentary on the games. Her insightful analysis and engaging commentary will enhance the viewing experience for fans and offer deeper insights into the strategies and moves of the players.
With Lichess broadcasting all the games, viewers can expect high-quality streams and a user-friendly experience. This partnership aligns with our vision to develop and prosper the Lewis Chess Legends tournament, aiming to make it a cornerstone event in the international chess calendar.
As we look forward to the millennium anniversary of the Nidaros Cathedral and the Archbishop’s Palace in 2030, we believe that hosting a grand open international chess tournament will be a fitting tribute to this momentous occasion.
