What is your favorite chess book?
- Nowadays there are so many great chess books, but back in 1980s, the Swedish version of "Think like a Grandmaster" by Alexander Kotov had a huge impact on my chess development as a young player.
Do you have a role model in chess? If so, who?
- Not really, but I admire all the 17 classical chess world champions.
What is your best chess experience so far?
- That has to be my gold medal in the 1991 European Junior Championship ahead of a young Vladimir Kramnik among others.
